Man, their January calendar is packed with good stuff... Elliott Yamin, Ryan Cabrera, Camper van Beethoven, Edwin McCain...
And of course the mighty Constantine Maroulis... Have you heard of him?

Their December calendar is lookin good too, too bad I don't live closeby...
There's Jerry Douglas Band featuring John Oates (yes, H&O), Bustle In Your Hedgerow (I believe this is a Led Zeppelin tribute band), Dashboard Confessional (a solo guy), Aaron Neville, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy Holiday Show (I think these are the "Zoot Suit Riot" guys, should be FUN!), East Village Opera Core-Tet, Talib Kweli, and one of my very favorite NYC singer songwriters, Ari Hest.

...and I bet that David Johansen show on Nov. 28 is good too!

This sounds like a good venue with lots of good acts. You could shop all day at the Chelsea Loehmann's on 17th, then head over to Highline...

I need to hit up that Loehmann's sometime; I do have a bit of the shopping bug!
Would love to see many many concerts! Looks like a good venue.

One really good thing about Loehmanns, they SHIP!!! so no worries about room in the suitcase...

On another note, I went to see Constantine's first show, Lend Me a Tenor, tonight at the Rep. Absolutely hilarious!!! He HAD to be the character Max, who steals the show.... It isn't a musical, and yet, there's plenty of singing....umm...guess you have to see it to know...

It works! The colors aren't necessarily what I'd have...not a fan of the whole gold/grey combo, but it really, really works in there for him, I think. The entry way is uber-cool, with the "theatrical" feel she was going for...and of course I love the Brel book on the coffee table (awwww...)
I gotta admit, I looked at that dark rug in the bedroom and my first thought was that it's gonna show every little thing, but then again, he doesn't have kids/dogs/men who work in basements, etc., to worry about...
Guess she just did bedroom/livingroom. Well, there's not much to that kitchen to decorate...love re-doing bathrooms though, no matter how tiny. Maybe he can get one of his warmly invited guests to do that

I enjoyed seeing his apt. The show seemed much more of a designer taking what you've got and adding accessories, curtains, paint, etc., rather than a complete re-do of someone's place. It works very nicely, but I agree, conssrt: my taste would call for a bit more color. Fun show! Let's have the designer do the kitchen and bath next and give us another episode!
